Dinner party-style vegan supper club

For the very first time, and by popular demand, the Abbey Hotel in Bath are thrilled to be hosting their first dinner party-style vegan supper club at the hotel’s Igloo bar.

In previous years the hotel has played host to two hugely successful sold-out vegetarian supper clubs, but have since received growing demand from customers for them to offer up an all-vegan version of the sell-out event.

The vegan supper club is being hosted by head chef Rupert Taylor, and promises to be an intimate, dinner party-style evening with a menu packed full of seasonal ingredients.

The menu has been designed to celebrate plant-power, putting plants firmly at the forefront of cuisine, and a movement that has taken the world by storm.

Tickets cost £35 per person and include a glass of fizz on arrival, a three-course supper, half a bottle of vegan wine and a selection of coffee and chocolates to finish off the evening in style.

To kick off the meal, diners will be served an amuse bouche consisting of parsnips and coconut soup with parsnip bhajis to whet the appetite. Up next is the start, which is light and zesty quinoa, fennel and orange salad.

For the main, diners will be tucking into courgette, spelt and cumin fritters with beetroot, cashew and herb poriyal.

Last but not least, dessert is set to be a mouth-wateringly creative caramel and pink peppercorn pineapple with banana and passion fruit sorbet. Bon Appétit!

The vegan supper club will be taking place on 26th Jun 2018 between 7pm – 10pm at the Igloo Bar under the Abbey Hotel at 1-3 North Parade in Bath. Tickets cost £35 per person and can be booked here.

Please note any dietary requirements need to be approved by the chef prior to ticket purchase. If you like to enquire please do so by emailing [email protected] with your full name and dietary details.
