A huge 150-covers plant-based restaurant is set to open in Canary Wharf this summer.
Mallow already boasts one outlet Borough Market, which opened in November 2021, and will be opening its second in June 2023.
The eatery, which was ‘pioneered by the team behind Mildreds’ is on a mission to ‘to power a plant-based movement across the capital with seasonal dishes packed full of vibrant flavours’.
Located in Wood Wharf, in the heart of Canary Wharf, Mallow will be based across two floors and an outdoor terrace. It will boast 150 covers, 100 spread across two floors inside, with an additional 50 on the terrace.
Mallow, which will boast ‘a relaxed dining-style atmosphere’, will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. It will also offer a range of evening drinks from its bar, including a variety of handcrafted cocktails, vegan wines and beers.
Sarah Wasserman, Head of Food Development for Mallow and Mildreds, will lead on menu creation.
Dishes, which will largely focus on sustainability, seasonality and provenance, will boast hero dishes from Borough Market alongside new additions exclusive to Wood Wharf.
Among the new options on offer will be Spinach Dahi Puri served with lime, coconut sambol and blackcurrant tamarind chutney and Aubergine Muhamammara Borek plated with green tabbouleh, smoked aubergine cream and ezme.
