Pizza Hut has added its seventh vegan pizza to the menu for Veganuary.

Pizza Hut has launched a vegan pepperoni pizza across its UK outlets.

This is their seventh plant-based option to join the menu, the ‘Pepperphoni’ is made from pea protein and is topped with Violife cheese.

Priced at £11.69 this pizza is a limited edition product, but Pizza Hut state that if it is popular it could join the menu permanently.

The takeaway pizza chain is encouraging customers who have tried the new vegan offering to snap a picture of their pizza for social media where they will be automatically entered into a competition to win a £100 gift card if they use the hashtag #VeganHut and tag @PizzaHutUK in the post.

Ciara Grace, Senior Menu Innovation Manager at Pizza Hut Restaurants, said “Following the success of our vegan Jack’ N’ Ch**se Pizza last Veganuary, we wanted to create something new for 2020 to excite both vegan and non-vegan customers,”

“We strive to offer our guests as much choice as possible and love coming up with new, delicious recipes for them to try. Pea protein is a first for Pizza Hut Restaurants, and we’re excited for guests to give it a go.”

Pizza Hut Restaurants’ vegan options are available to dine-in and take-out at every restaurant in England, Scotland and Wales, and are also available for home delivery from selected Pizza Hut Restaurants on Deliveroo and Uber Eats if you fancy dining in the comfort of your own home.
