Pizza Express has just released its summer menu, and it includes a delicious new vegan dessert, as well as a brand new pizza.

High-street pizza restaurant chain Pizza Express has upped its game in recent months when it comes to its vegan offering, and now they’ve added a delicious new vegan dessert to the menu, and thankfully it’s not another sorbet!

Pizza Express’ latest menu addition is a Blackcurrant & Limoncello Semifreddo, which is also gluten-free.

The fresh and fruity dessert features a crumbly biscuit base topped with a decadent, fluffy limoncello liqueur and blackcurrant mousse, served with fruit coulis and fresh strawberries and mint leaves. Perfect for summer!

Vegan pizza

In 2017, Pizza Express joined the likes of Zizzi’s in offering vegan cheese on pizzas when they added a vegan mozzarella alternative on the menu.

Made in Italy using Italian ingredients, Pizza Express say it melts perfectly in their pizza oven and gives a creamy finish to any recipe. Their vegan mozzarella alternative is available to be used across all of their pizzas, making this a great option for those looking for a dairy-free alternative.

 Leggera Vegan Giardiniera

This summer the pizza restaurant has launched a brand new vegan pizza, the Leggera Vegan Giardiniera. The new vegan pizza is topped with artichokes, closed cup mushroom, red onion and black olives, with tomato, vegan mozzarella alternative and garlic oil and finished with fresh parsley.
