Paramore has vowed to donate a portion of its concert ticket sales to a vegan charity tackling food insecurity and climate change*.
The iconic rock band revealed the dates of its American tour last week, as well as announcing its partnership with the initiative Support + Feed.
Spearheaded by Billie Eilish’s mum Maggie Baird, Support + Feed initially started to help those most vulnerable during the Covid pandemic, as well as help support vegan restaurants in LA.
However, the charity has since expanded across the US and widened its mission to tackle food insecurity – particularly in BIPOC and other communities.
“Thank you Paramore for supporting your local communities!” the charity wrote online.
Paramore’s Hayley Williams
Last year, Paramore’s lead singer Hayley Williams baked vegan chocolate chip cookies to be donated to Support + Feed.
The star also went live on Instagram with Baird to discuss her experience with plant-based foods.
“It’s such a journey that I’ve gone up and down with,” she said.
“Now I’m 32 and in Nashville, there’s more vegan awareness [and] more plant-based restaurants in town…
“There’s a lot of education that I’ve been able to acquire and learning about how it affects our economy alone and how sustainable it is to eat without eating meat. [But] I’m still learning about it.”

*A portion of ticket sales from Paramore’s two LA concerts and New York show will be donated to Support + Feed. It is not confirmed whether all US shows will also donate to the charity
