Vegan icon Pamela Anderson has launched a luxury vegan handbag collection made from apple skin leather.

Anderson has teamed up with Parisian brand Ashoka Paris to create the cruelty-free line.

Each bag in the Pamela Shopping Collection is made with PETA-approved apple skin leather.

Additionally, portions of the vegan handbag profits will be donated to animal protection charities and the Pamela Anderson Foundation.

Pamela Anderson’s vegan handbag collection

Anderson’s latest collection is the second collaboration with the vegan Parisian brand.

In 2020, they launched their first PETA-approved handbag line which was a success.

The Pamela Shopping Collection features a variety of styles and is available in a range of beautiful neutral colours.

Its unique vegan leather is produced in Italy, using apples grown in orchards in Bolzano.

The apple skin is grounded into a fine powder and is transformed into a durable and sustainable textile.

Furthermore, the inside of each bag features an inspiring message from Pamela, saying: “RESISTE! Inside every beautiful person is an activist wanting to defend the planet”.

Although the luxury handbags come with a luxury price, prices range from £225 – £279, profits from the handmade accessory will be donated to animal protection charities, as well as Anderson’s human, animal, and environmental rights group, the Pamela Anderson Foundation.

Animal activism

Anderson has devoted years of her career to promoting veganism and defending animals.

The actress has worked closely with PETA over the years and even opened a pop-up vegan restaurant in the South of France.

Most recently, Pamela wrote a letter to Boris Johnson urging the UK to ban its notorious bearskin guard caps.

Moreover, it is vital that vegan celebrities use their platform to promote positive changes for our planet and help influence others to follow in their footsteps.
