Oowee Vegan has partnered with plant-based innovators Redefine Meat to create an exciting new summer menu.
The fast-food chain has debuted three new options, all of which use Redefine’s plant-based lamb.
Made from soy and pie protein, the lamb analogue offers a realistic texture that’s ‘as good as the real thing’. It also ‘expels fat when chewed’ – just like traditional meat kofta.

The new summer menu will only be available for six weeks, starting on August 1.
Customers can choose from a Za’atar spiced lamb and whipped feta burger, Za’atar spiced lamb and whipped feta wrap, and a Za’atar spiced lamb and whipped feta salad.
All of the dishes also feature a red onion and mint salad with za’atar dressing.

‘The star of the show’
In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Oowee Vegan Founder Charlie Watson said: “We’re on a mission to be at the forefront of plant-based food.
“We want to be the first to offer out community the latest developments and innovations, which we put our unique twist on…
“We tried the lamb Kofta, and immediately knew this was a level above anything we’d tried before.
“The fat that is expelled from the kofta gave it an eat that blew our minds. Then, we developed a classic summer menu that really lets the start of the show shine.”
Oowee Vegan’s lamb-inspired summer menu will be available across all of its stores in Bristol, London Brixton, and Brighton.
