NOMO launches nut-free vegan ‘Hazelnot’ chocolate bar

Read Time:   |  20th April 2020

Free-from chocolatiers NOMO are proud to launch the the first ever nut-free nut tasting bar, the Nut Free Hazelnot Crunch Choc Bar.

Free-from chocolate brand, NOMO, is adding another deliciously dairy-free chocolate bar to its range of scrumptiously smooth and creamy vegan chocolate bars following its launch in 2019.

NOMO’s number one mission is to ensure that no one misses out on great tasting chocolate, so the brand has been hard at working on creating a nut-free vegan chocolate bar for those with nut allergies who miss the delightful combination of hazelnut and chocolate.

The Nut Free Hazelnot Crunch Choc Bar, which is available to purchase now from Asda priced at £2 per bar, is made with crunchy cocoa nibs, rice crispy pieces and natural nut-free flavour.

Great tasting

In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Emma Perrett, Senior Innovation and Brand Manager of Kinnerton Confectionery said: “Ensuring that no one misses out is the corner stone of our brand and one of the reasons we have gone to such extraordinary lengths to create a Nut Free Hazelnot choc bar. We know that some people can’t enjoy great tasting nut chocolate, and that all consumers should have a variety of choice and flavour at every occasion.

“One of our aims at NOMO is to develop mainstream flavours that we know customers will love regardless of whether they are vegan or have a food allergy and so we are delighted to offer this new delicious nut flavoured, but completely nut free, chocolate to the market.”
