Vegans in the South West of England can now enjoy discounts at a selection of hand-picked retailers thanks to a new vegan discount card from Hungry Herbie.
2018 is the year that veganism well and truly hit the mainstream, and with more people than ever before shunning animal products for cruelty-free alternatives one company has decided to give vegans in the South West of England the chance to enjoy discounts at some of their favourite local haunts.
The first of its kind in the South West, the Hungry Herbie card gives customers opting for vegan options the opportunity to reward themselves by saving money on their food, drinks and lifestyle products across a range of hand-picked retailers across the Bath and Bristol area.
There’s a range of individual deals up for grabs at the various independent cafes, restaurants and lifestyle outlets affiliated with the discount card. Offers include 25% off your entire food bill at the Bathampton Mill and 20% off vegan purchases at Four Seasons Organic in Bristol.
Also amongst the businesses offering discounts is Herbitour, a vegan food tour enterprise based in Bath and the sister company of Hungry Herbie.
Jenni Tame, the founder behind both businesses, said:
“I am very excited about the release of the Hungry Herbie card, I feel that veganism has really expanded in the last few years and more and more places are offering vegan options now. I really want to highlight how great they are and to dispell the myth that it is hard to be vegan.”
