A new monthly vegan food market is coming to Reading where a range of plant-based baked goods, savoury dishes, desserts and art will be on offer.
A brand new monthly vegan market is having its debut in Reading this weekend. The mini market is being organised by friends Philippa Stannard and Melony Lawrance, who are hoping to create a plant-based hub in Reading, showcasing its best local and independent companies and start-ups.
The pair also created the Ethic Collective, a group set up to bring together people who desire sustainable and ethical lifestyles and make vegan product choices.
The market will be from 10am until 4pm, and will be back every month to offer hungry vegans the chance to purchase a range of plant-based baked goods, savoury dishes, desserts and art.
Stalls that have already signed up include street food company Vegivores, homemade fudge makers Hartland Fudge and Silver Moon Food, who create mouth-watering artisan vegan cheese.
Other Saturday dates that have already been confirmed are April 28 and May 16, so be sure to add these dates to your diaries!
The vegan market will launch at Station Hill in Reading town centre on Saturday, March 24.
