Nestlé says it is 'constantly striving to provide its fans with delicious vegan and vegetarian alternatives' with the Garden Gourmet line, which is aimed at meat reducers as well as vegetarians and vegans

Nestlé is expanding its Garden Gourmet range of veggie meat alternatives with three new vegan products.

The line, which is aimed at meat reducers and flexitarians as well as vegetarians and vegans, now boasts three new plant-based products – Chicken Style Pieces, Chicken Style Breaded Mini Fillets, and Chicken Style Chargrilled Bites.

According to Nestlé, its ready-to-eat Chicken Style Chargrilled Bites feature a ‘lightly smoky flavour’ which suits salads and sandwiches, while the Chicken Style Pieces work well in vegan recipes like curry recipes, stir-fries and pasta dishes.

Meanwhile, the Chicken Style Breaded Mini Fillets, which offer a ‘succulent chicken-like texture lightly coated with panko-style breadcrumbs’ can be enjoyed in a range of dishes including wraps, salad recipes, and served alongside rice and veggies.
