Nescafé has launched vegan flat white coffee pods in coconut, almond and oat milk varieties.
With a third of UK households now buying non-dairy milk alternatives, Nescafé is responding to customer demand with a selection of three vegan flat white coffee pods.
The three new non-dairy pods are compatible with the full range of Nescafé Dolce Gusto machines and can create barista-style drinks right from your own kitchen. What’s not to love?
The three non-dairy varieties are Almond, Oat and Coconut, meaning you can still enjoy a delicious vegan coffee if you are allergic to soy. Each pod makes a long cup of creamy milky coffee, so you won’t miss going out for coffee during the lockdown.
Each box, priced at £3.99, contains 12 capsules, making non-dairy drinks affordable at just 33p per coffee.
‘Increase in demand for dairy alternatives’
Speaking to VegNews, Florian Ramos, Senior Brand Manager of Nescafé Dolce Gusto said: “At Nescafé Dolce Gusto we’re always looking to provide our customers with the best home coffee experience.
“Over the past few years, we’ve seen an increase in demand for dairy alternatives so we wanted to ensure these customers can still enjoy barista-style coffee at home.
“The new pods, which include coconut and almond alternatives, join our collection of over 50 coffee, tea, and hot chocolate pods, giving our customers the opportunity to enjoy their drinks just the way they like them, at home with their Nescafé Dolce Gusto machine.”
The new Nescafé vegan flat white range is available online from Dolce Gusto, and in Tesco and Sainsbury’s stores for £3.99 per 12-pack.
Oat milk brand Oatly has come under fire for partnering with investor Blackstone.
