Vegan options at high street cafés
Previously, vegan options at high street cafés and coffee shops have been incredibly limited.
However, as the demand for more plant-based options has risen, high street coffee shops have gotten inventive with their products.
High street chains such as Costa, Cafe Nero, and Pret A Manager have become the go-to spots to enjoy a vegan coffee and a sweet or savoury treat.
Earlier this year Costa announced its new partnership with vegan icons BOSH! to launch The Ultimate Chocolate Slice.
In addition, the coffee chain also released a Vegan Smoky Ham & CheeZe Toastie, which became an instant hit.
Another coffee chain giant, Starbucks, teamed up with vegan meat giant Beyond Meat to launch the ultimate breakfast sandwich for Veganuary 2021.
It’s encouraging to see global brands such as Starbucks and Costa expanding their plant-based options.
Not only does this provide everyone with greater choice, but it is also a sign that things are progressing for the better!
