First look at the Morrisons vegan Christmas range for 2022

With less than 3 months until Christmas, Morrisons has given us a first look at its vegan Christmas range for 2022.

The supermarket range features 10 festive products, with 8 of them new for 2022. From starters to dessert, Morrisons’ Christmas range promises to cover all bases to ensure your Christmas runs smoothly.

In a statement, Morrisons’ shared: “Working hard in our test kitchen, our team of chefs and product developers have once again been busy creating (and continuously tasting) to make every product perfect this year.”

Vegan Christmas canapés and starters

To kick off the festive celebrations Morrisons has launched a range of exciting new canapés and starters.

Perfect for party season, the supermarket’s new No Prawn Toast Baguette (£4.00) is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Tender jackfruit tops a crunchy baguette and gets a good sprinkle of sesame seeds to recreate the classic flavours of prawn toast.

Also in the range are the Vegan No Cheese Bake and Vegan Mushroom Pate from Morrisons’ Plant Revolution range.

New for 2022, the Vegan No Cheese Bake (£3.99) is an individual serving of molten vegan cheese served in a terracotta pot. Each dish is topped with a serving of caramelised onion chutney for extra dipping.

And returning for another Christmas, Plant Revolution’s Vegan Mushroom Pate (£3.99) is a sharing pot of rich oven-roasted mushroom pate made with dried porcini mushrooms and seasoned with garlic, thyme and smoked paprika.

Plant-based Christmas mains

This year, Morrisons has launched 3 new vegan Christmas mains that are sure to be enjoyed by everyone.

First up is the Plant Revolution Roast No Turkey Crown (£6.00, serves 3-4 people). This golden vegan turkey crown is made of wheat, soy and pea protein to give it a realistic taste and texture. It’s topped with parsley and sage vegan butter melt and finished with a horseradish and herb crumb.

Next is the Plant Revolution Beefless Wellington, this vegan twist on a classic British dish features a beef-style centre made of wheat, soy and pea protein and is topped with rich mushroom duxelles. It’s encased with flaky and golden pastry and finished with star embellishments.

The final showstopping main from the supermarket is the Plant Revolution Vegan Gammon Joint with a Maple and Orange Glaze (£6.00, serves 4).

This realistic ‘ham’ joint is made up of a blend of wheat, pea and soya protein and finished with a sticky maple and zesty orange glaze.

Vegan Sides dishes

Christmas dinner isn’t complete without a range of delicious sides to add extra magic to your meal.

Morrisons’ has launched 2 new classic sides to its Plant Revolution range. The sides include a plant-based stuffing pack (£3.00, 2 for £5.00) and No Pigs in Blankets (£3.00, or 2 for £5.00).

The vegan sausages are made from wheat, pea protein and mushroom and wrapped in meat-free bacon rashers.

Vegan Christmas desserts

Who can resist an indulgent vegan dessert during the holidays? We sure can’t!

This year Morrisons’ has launched its showstopping Vegan Chocolate and Salted Caramel Cheesecake (£6.00, serves 4). This rich pud includes a layer of smooth chocolate sauce speckled with chewy chocolate pieces topped with a layer of caramel mousse and a crunchy cocoa crumb.

Fans of Morrisons’ vegan trifle will be pleased to hear that it will be making a return in 2022 after it proved a hit with customers last Christmas. It will be available to collect in store from Decemeber 1st.

For a lighter bite, the supermarkets’ Free From Mince Pies (£1.99), the golden pastry cases are filled with rich mincemeat made with juicy vine fruit and festive spices.

When is Morrisons’ vegan Christmas range available?

Morrisons has staggered the release days for its vegan Christmas range.

Shoppers can find the Free From Mince Pies in stores now, but the rest of the range will be available from the 30th of November, and the 19th and 21st of December.
