Montezuma’s has added another new product to it’s ‘Like No Udder’ range – an organic dairy-free milk chocolate Easter egg with chocolate buttons.

In 2018, Montezuma’s unveiled its first range of vegan-friendly Easter eggs and chocolate gifts. The range included a selection of tasty new products, including dark chocolate mini eggs filled with peanut butter and a sugar-free 100% cocoa Absolute Black Button egg.

Whilst many companies have taken steps to offer more vegan options, finding a smooth and creamy vegan alternative to milk chocolate is hard to find. In a bid to offer their customers something different, Montezuma’s released a no ‘Like No Udder’ range featuring dairy-free milk chocolate bars in both plain and orange flavours.

According to Montezuma’s, its team worked hard to “create a delicious milk chocolate alternative using rice powder instead of cows’ milk to provide the creamy taste needed.”

In celebration of Easter, the company has added another new product to the ‘Like No Udder’ range – an organic dairy-free milk chocolate Easter egg with chocolate buttons (RRP £9.99).

The Like No Udder egg is as close to milk chocolate as possible without ever going near a cow! It is as smooth and creamy and as high in cocoa as the brand’s regular milk chocolate but without the dairy. The result is an organic bar with a milk chocolate taste, ideal for vegans.

Commenting on the new products, Helen Pattinson, Montezuma’s co-founder said: “Easter is always such a lovely celebration especially for those of us in the chocolate world! We are very pleased with this year’s range which offers so many delicious and fun options and suits all of our customers – whether they are choosing a milk, white or dark treat or something more suited to a lifestyle choice or special diet. Our new giant bunnies look and taste amazing and I’m sure will be enjoyed by many of our customers – young and old!”

Montezuma’s products are available to purchase via their own shops in London and the South East, online and through Liberty’s, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, John Lewis, Selfridges and independent food stores across the UK.
