Meatless Farm has launched its first-ever range of vegan ready meals ‘rich in protein’ in two major UK retailers.
The plant-based brand has debuted its Meatless Marinara, Korean BBQ Style Chicken & Rice, and Chilli Non-Carne in Morrisons stores across the UK as well as online retailer Ocado.
All three recipes are available to purchase either chilled or frozen, with prices starting from £3.
‘Mindful choices’
In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, UK Managing Director of Meatless Farm Michael Hunter said: “Our non-meat, non-chopping kitchen ready meals will offer our customers the convenience they’ve been looking for.
“We know more people than ever want to make mindful choices when shopping. But, since the pandemic, they are also wanting to spend less time in their kitchens and want to get out and about more”.
Meatless Farm’s vegan ready meals
The company says its ready meals, made from pea protein, are low in saturated fat and sugar and are a good source of vegan protein.
Plus, each recipe meets HFSS regulations too, scoring only amber and green on the nutritional traffic light system.
Hunter said the new range will provide “more people with the fuss-free tea they want. He added: “The launch of our new range of ready meals takes Meatless Farm into a brand-new category in the supermarkets”.
“With choices ranging from classic family favourites like spaghetti and meatballs to trend-led Korean-inspired dishes there’s something for everyone… While also being kind to the planet.”
