Mark it in your calendars, Meatless Farm is blessing the UK with the first vegan sausage roll vending machine, and it's free to use!
What better way to celebrate National Sausage Roll day than to enjoy a fresh vegan sausage roll straight from a Meatless Farm vending machine?
Well, those dreams are becoming a reality as the public will feast their eyes (and bellies!) on the UK’s first vegan sausage roll vending machine!
For one day only (Saturday the 5th of June) Meatless Farm will be offering hot or cold sausage rolls to the public at London’s South Bank, serving between 11.30 am and 7 pm.
Did we forget to mention the plant-based sausage rolls are completely free?
M*** F*** Pop ups
This isn’t the first time pop-up campaign from Meatless Farm. In August 2020, the plant-based brand introduced its M*** F*** drive-thru in Hackney, London.
Offering up plant-based burgers to its hungry customers, the menu included the “Mother Flipper x Meatless Farm Cheeseburger”, a plant-based take on the world’s favourite fast food breakfast, and “The Greta,” an eco-burger with aubergine bacon.
Wanting to encourage its customers to be green and sustainable, anyone who used the drive-thru with an electric car or a bicycle would receive 50% off their order.
Founder of Meatless Farm Morten Toft Bech said that he hopes the drive-thru is another step towards making plant-based a preference rather than an option.
“We are building a new category; next-generation meat alternatives are fast becoming a more frequent preference for meat-eaters. The relationship between out-of-home trends and retail purchase is strong.
“Our M*** F*** drive-thru is an opportunity to engage consumers, who perhaps haven’t tried plant-based before, to start on their journey,” says Michael Hunter, Chief Growth Officer.
Make sure to get to South Bank early on the 5th of June and keep your eyes peeled for the M*** F*** sausage roll vending machine.
Can’t wait ’til then? Why not make your own vegan Glamorgan sausage roll at home?
