Just in time for the warmer weather, M&S has announced the launch of two exciting new products to its Plant Kitchen range following months of development.

The new plant-based products are perfect for meat-free barbecues this summer and will ensure that no one misses meat.

Described as “the daddy of all vegan burgers”, M&S is proud to launch the new No Beef Burger (£3.50) – a finely crafted recipe of soya, onion, red pepper and beetroot making them full of flavour.

The second innovative new addition to the range is the Chorizo Puppies (£3.50), a vegan take on the classic chorizo sausage which are made with mushroom, red pepper, soya, smoked paprika, roasted garlic, caramelised onion, roasted chilli.

Both the Puppies and the Burgers are suitable for freezing and can also be easily cooked up in the oven, making them perfect for a mid-week meat-free option.

In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, James Fisher, M&S Product Development said: “I am super excited about the launch of our puppies and burgers, they may well be vegan-friendly, but as with the entire Plant Kitchen range they are flavour FIRST and I think will be a real hit among vegans and meat-eaters alike. I can’t wait to hear how people are enjoying theirs this summer…”
