Magnum first announced the launch of a vegan version of its popular frozen treat into the European market in 2018, and now it’s expanding its dairy-free range with the launch of a new vegan flavour – salted caramel.
The new Magnum Non-Dairy Sea Salt Caramel Bar is made with a vegan sea salt caramel flavoured base that’s dipped in a cracking vegan milk chocolate shell made from ethically-sourced cocoa beans sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms.
The ice cream itself is made from a blend of coconut oil and pea protein that gives it a creamy texture without the dairy.
“At Magnum Ice Cream, we’re obsessed with delivering a next-level bite,” Leslie Miller, director of marketing, Ice Cream North America, said.
“Caramel is Magnum’s most popular ice cream flavor in dairy bars and tubs, so it’s exciting to bring it to market in an equally delicious Non-Dairy Bar.”
The new products are available to purchase in stockists across the US now, with an RRP of $4.49-$5.99.
