London’s first vegan French pâtisserie, Café Forty One, is opening its doors this July at La Suite West in Hyde Park.
A unique dining offering in the heart of London, Café Forty-One is set to open from 11th July. The new venue will be the capitals first all-vegan French pâtisserie and will offer a whole host of contemporary alternatives to traditional French pâtisserie favourites.
Café Forty One aims to defy the stereotypes that surround plant-based food by showcasing a wide range of unique delicate and delicious vegan desserts and sweet treats that are not traditionally vegan.
Menu
Head Chef Clarisse Flon, a speciality vegan chef, will introduce a new vegan breakfast, lunch, all day dessert and Afternoon Tea menus to the new eatery. Many of the dishes can be gluten-free and tailored to dietary choices on request.
Breakfast includes home-made pastries, as well as the usual breakfast favourites. The ‘Unbelievably Vegan’ lunch menu lists unique dishes such as citrus smoked ‘salmon’ & pomegranate salad with ‘salmon’ created from carrot.
For dessert the café will be offering customers the choice of a selection of seasonal pâtisseries such as strawberry tart & melt-in-your-mouth millefeuille.
The venue is also offering hungry diners the opportunity to indulge in a spectacular Vegan Afternoon Tea consisting of BLT’s with eggplant bacon & mayonnaise, almond crème brûlée, plain & raisin scones with coconut cream & strawberries.

Flon and La Suite West Hotel have big ambitions for Café Forty One is to create and showcase exceptional and passionate vegan cuisine that stands out against the current vegan offering in London.
Both parties are determined to create visually stimulating dishes that will not only subvert the stereotype of vegan food as tasteless and unimaginative, but will cater for everyone, not just vegans.
