Finding a place to enjoy a cup of coffee and a delicious bite to eat with friends in Liverpool is about to get a whole lot simpler as the city’s first 100% vegan coffee shop gets set to open its doors on December 11th.
The vegan team behind Pott’s Coffee said they were “inspired open a coffee shop after discovering Liverpool’s thriving range of independent businesses.”
Feeling that something was missing from the local scene, they wanted to create a 100% plant-based coffee shop to complement the vegan community in Liverpool.
Pott’s Coffee will be based in Liverpool City centre on Slater street and will offer up a wide range of breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes made using fresh local produce as the founders are keen to work with other local businesses to support the budding vegan community in Liverpool.
Diners will be able to enjoy a range of healthy and comforting dishes such as a tempting sausage and tofu breakfast muffin and raw vegan treats such as the Açai smoothie bowl.

Founders Danielle and Jonny are passionate about the planet and have worked hard to reduce the impact of the business on the environment by using fully biodegradable takeout cups and boxes, as well as reclaimed materials to create their friendly and modern shop.
In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Co-founder Jonny said: “We have been vegan for around 3 years now, and it’s great to see how the vegan community has evolved and grown in that time, our goal is to inspire more people to try a plant-based way of living.”
Adding to his sentiments, Co-founder Danielle added: “To all of us at Potts Coffee, ethics is really important – from the talented farmers who grow our coffee to our very own team in-store, we believe in making a positive impact on as many peoples lives as possible, and to us, that starts with veganism.”
