Meat-free pioneer Linda McCartney's celebrates its 30 year anniversary in style, releasing four new products just in time for summer.
Landing on the supermarket shelves from springtime onwards, meat-free brand and veteran Linda McCartney’s expands its range to commemorate its 30th anniversary of revolutionary work and products.
Expanding its much-loved frozen selection, McCartney’s frozen ‘chicken’ roast, made from soya and rosemary, will be a freezer staple. Say goodbye to boring Sunday lunch mains, winner, winner, it’s soya chicken for dinner.
In addition, the animal-rights pioneer is spoiling us with frozen AND chilled chicken-style chunks. These soya-chunks will be perfect for curries, pasta dishes, and kebab skewers.
“We’re thrilled to witness the increasing demand for vegan and vegetarian food”
And last, but certainly not least, the brand’s treasured ¼ lb frozen burgers will be available in the chilled section. Made from seasoned soya protein and onion, these burgers will be perfect for BBQs with friends and family.
The demand for plant-based food is at an all-time high, with supermarkets launching exciting plant-based products each week.
However, Linda McCartney’s has contributed so much towards the movement and has been responsible for providing easy, meat-free meals for almost 30 years. Making vegetarian and vegan cooking easy and accessible to all.
Nadine Maggi, Managing Director at Linda McCartney’s told us, “We’re thrilled to witness the increasing demand for vegan and vegetarian food. It’s so heartening to see the number of people looking to reduce their meat consumption continue to rise.”
In light of its 30th-anniversary celebrations, we remember the late Linda McCartney, whose activism and creativity helped shaped the meat-free movement today.
Her compassion for animals has inspired so many people to follow in her footsteps. The McCartney family has recently announced they will be continuing Linda’s legacy, releasing a cookbook filled with the family’s favourite plant-based recipes.
