Linda McCartney’s are getting in the festive spirit with the launch of a selection of new vegan-friendly products for Christmas.
Vegetarian food pioneers Linda McCartney’s are feeling festive as it welcomes back its ‘McCartney family favourite’ Vegetarian Roast and launches two new products that are perfect for Christmas.
Take the stress out of cooking this Christmas with the Vegetarian Roast (£5), which is suitable for vegans, and pairs well with a side of roast potatoes. This dish is so beloved by the McCarney family that Paul, Mary and Stella have even had it made specially for festive dinners while it’s been unavailable.
Paul McCartney comments, “Every family has that one dish that no one can get enough of during the festive season and for me, it’s the Vegetarian Roast. This really is a family favourite and we love that we still get to embrace the tradition of carving up the roast. We hope it becomes a new Christmas tradition for many more.”
You can find this exclusively at Tesco stores.
For those that miss having a helping of stuffing with their Christmas dinner, Linda McCartney’s has added new soya-based Vegetarian Red Onion & Rosemary Stuffing Balls (£2.75) to its range which are available exclusively at Tesco.
Another main that can take centre stage at the Christmas table is the new Linda McCartney’s Vegetarian Turkey and Cranberry Plait (£2) which can be found exclusively in the frozen aisle at Sainsbury’s.
This crowd-pleasing dish has an enticing turkey-flavour and is filled with butternut, spinach and cranberry with soya and wheat protein wrapped in puff pastry plait.
In a statement, Managing Director Nadine Maggi said: “Being meat-free at Christmas can be tricky and it’s important for us to provide delicious options for our customers that exceed their expectations.
“We are very excited to be bringing back the Linda McCartney’s Vegetarian Roast this year. It’s a firm festive favourite of the McCartney family and we hope it becomes a festive tradition for many other families too.”
