Vegetarian food pioneers Linda McCartney’s, who offer a wide range of vegan-friendly products, has announced the addition of two brand new vegan-friendly products to its meat-free range – Vegetarian Fishcakes and Southern-Style ‘Chicken’.

The Southern-Style Chicken pieces (£2.00) are made from soya and wheat protein to give them a meaty texture and have a crispy fried batter coating.

Flavoured with a blend of spices that’s synonymous with the ‘South’, they’re a perfect Friday night treat that are delicious served with fries and slaw.

You can pick up the new Linda McCartney’s Vegetarian Southern-Style Chicken from the freezer aisle at Sainsbury from 22nd September.

Keen to offer more diversity in fish-free products, the brand has also launched fish-free fishcakes (£2.00) bursting with Thai-inspired flavours of lemongrass, lime and chilli and coated in a crisp lemon and parsley breadcrumb.
