Luxury boutique hotel, Laura Ashley Hotel The Belsfield, has launched a brand-new vegan afternoon tea featuring a tempting array of sweet and savoury treats.
Four-star luxury boutique hotel, Laura Ashley Hotel The Belsfield, has launched a brand new vegan afternoon tea.
Guests can indulge in savoury options including a vegan sausage roll, soy tofu sticks as well as a selection sandwiches including hummus and red pepper and avocado, gem and cucumber.
No afternoon tea would be complete without scones, and vegans will find the afternoon tea at The Belsfield comes complete with a choice of strawberry jam a dairy-free tofu spread.
Guests will be spoilt for choice with new afternoon tea sweet treats such as mini carrot muffin, rocky road, Millionaire’s shortbread, ginger tiffin and Belgium tiffin and mouth-watering Roly’s vegan fudge.
The afternoon tea, which is priced from £22.95 per person, is served in the Laura Ashley designed Lounge Bar, Drawing Room, Library or on warmer days on the Garden Terrace overlooking Lake Windermere and the Cumbrian Hills.
In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Mario Malcharek, General Manager, said: “We are thrilled to be able to expand our afternoon tea offering with four new menus. We’ve seen a huge demand in requests for dishes to meet a variety different dietary requirements, and our new menus enable us to meet those and ensure everyone is able to enjoy afternoon tea together.”
The Belsfield joins the likes of Vine Hotels, by Chloe and B Bakery in offering customers the choice of a vegan afternoon tea.
