Popular crisp brand Kettle Chips has teamed up with BOSH! to create vegan 'Sheese & Onion' flavour crisps.

UPDATED January 6th to include stockists and release dates.

Popular crisp brand Kettle Chips has teamed up with vegan chef duo Henry Firth and Ian Theasby of BOSH! to create an innovative new potato chip flavour – vegan ‘Sheese & Onion,’ reports The Grocer.

Whilst it may surprise some people to learn that meat-flavoured crisps are often suitable for vegans, there are few options available when it comes to the classic pairing of cheese and onion.

Kettle Chips’ new vegan flavour, which will retail at £1.99 for a 135g bag. will feature red leicester-style ‘sheese’ made by vegan cheesemaker Bute Island in its completely vegan factory to eliminate cross-contamination with animal products.

Customers can find the vegan crisps at Asda, Budgens and Londis stores now and the new flavour will be rolled out to Tesco and Morrisons towards the end of the month.
