British family-run ice cream company Jude’s has expanded its range of dairy-free ice creams to include a decadent new flavour – chocolate brownie.
Available to purchase from select Waitrose stores now priced at £4.50, the decadent new dessert gives Ben & Jerry’s a run for its money as it is “laced with gooey brownie bites and a heavenly chocolate ripple.”
There’s good news for those who are nut-free too as not only is the dessert free from dairy, it’s also made with oat milk to give it a smooth and creamy texture.
Last autumn, the company debuted its first range of oat-milk based vegan ice creams with two indulgent flavours, Vanilla Bean and Salted Caramel, to choose from.
In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living at the time of launch, Chow Mezger, MD of Jude’s said: “We are excited to launch this indulgent range of vegan ice creams so that Jude’s can be enjoyed by more people.
“We have been supplying many of the UK’s best restaurants with vegan ice cream for a number of years and have been inundated with requests for this to be available more widely to be enjoyed at home. This is an exciting time for us as an ice cream maker. We’re finding more and more that consumers are open to a whole new world of possibilities as they start to think differently about their food.”
