We don’t know about you, but we’re even more enthusiastic about getting into the kitchen and cooking up a storm right now. So to make sure you don’t run out of recipes, we’ve enlisted the help of some of our favourite vegan chefs to create the first ever Vegan Food & Living Live week.
It’s easy to get stuck in a rut cooking up the same old recipes all the time, particularly if you don’t fancy braving the supermarket queues and you want to make use of what you’ve got in the cupboard. We feel your pain.
So at Vegan Food & Living, we decided to help you out by (virtually) gathering our favourite vegan chefs to put on a week of live cook-alongs, with a different chef joining us (from the comfort of their own kitchen) on our Instagram channel @veganfoodandliving every day at 12.30.
The week will take place from 27th April – 1st May 2020. The stories will stay live for 24 hours, so even if you can’t cook along at the time, you can go back and follow them later.
We’ve got something to appeal to everyone, from Epi Vegan Brett Cobley’s #CreativeCupboardChallenge to Stu Henshall from The Alternative Kitchen showing us how to whip up a delicious dinner using tins that may have been lurking at the back of your cupboard for a while.
If you’re anything like us, you’ll have found yourself snacking a lot more lately, so Niki Webster from Rebel Recipes shows us how to keep it healthy with a simple recipe for making your own dip and pita breads. Romy London has all bases covered for those of us who like to include mock meats in our recipes with a mouthwatering summer rolls recipe using the freezer staple Oumph. Finally Valentina Fois from Lele’s rounds off the week with the perfect sweet treat.
We really hope you can join us – see you there!
