Britain’s premier Chesterfield sofa manufacturer, www.chesterfields.co.uk, is leading current trends and proving that Veganuary is not just for January as it releases a new range of completely vegan sofas made from luxury faux leathers.
Chesterfield sofas are a timeless piece of British furniture that has been highly-sought after since the 18th century, when the fourth Earl of Chesterfield commissioned a sophisticated sofa in this style from his favourite cabinet maker.
Until now, Chesterfields, who have been making furniture in the original factory in England for over 25 years, have been known for their range of leather sofas. But now they’re giving vegans a chance to add this classic design to their homes with the release of vegan-friendly sofas.
Not only are the beautiful, deep buttoned sofas and chairs now available in a range of vegan-friendly luxe faux leathers, the company has also ensure they are completely vegan throughout by only using vegan-friendly glue and foam in the manufacturing process.
Callum Tombs, sales director at Chesterfields of England, says: “In recent times our company was receiving more and more enquires for a sofa with the look of the classic Chesterfields but made without leather. We currently produce a range of sofas in velvet and wool but have decided to make a range in environmentally friendly faux leather to satisfy demand.
“This range and all ranges going forward will use no animal products in either the glues or foam used in the frame or padding, two areas where other manufacturers especially ones abroad are still using animal products. The full range of leather sofas will still be available, with lots of exciting additions for the coming seasons.”
Prices start from £1170 for a three seater sofa in faux leather. Four seater Chesterfields are also available. The new range is available in a wide selection of shades. Visit www.chesterfields.co.ukfor further information.
