The Queen’s official haircare brand, Kent Brushes, has launched a new range of vegan hairbrushes that are free from animal-derived materials.
Founded in 1777, Kent Brushes are the world’s oldest hairbrush manufacturer and the official hair brush brand of the Queen having received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2017 and a Royal Warrant.
Traditionally, many of the hairbrushes in Kent Brushes product range have used boar bristle from India and China, whilst badger bristle is used in its shaving brushes.
Inspired by the rapid growth in veganism in recent years, the company has just debuted its first animal-free range – The Curve line.
The new range is comprised of four brushes which have been carefully designed to smooth, curl, dentangle and cushion hair using static-resistant technology.
The Curve range includes the Flexible Nylon Pin Flat Hairbrush, Static Resistant Medium Round Hairbrush, Static Resistant Cushioned Hairbrush and Over-Sized Quill Cushioned Hairbrush, with prices starting from £10.
The range is available to purchase exclusively from Boots and online at kentbrushes.com.
