The latest addition to Iceland’s popular plant-based range is the new No Porkies Cumberland Sausages  which the supermarket says you ‘don’t need to ‘pass off’ for the real thing, because they taste even better.’

These plant-based Cumberland style sausages (six-pack for £2.25 or 16 pack for £5.00) are made with soya protein and seasoned with hints of sage, coriander, ground nutmeg, parsley and garlic to get your taste buds sizzling whether you’re vegan or not.

Iceland hopes that the new meat-free bangers will ‘help plant-based shoppers get their autumn fix of comfort food, without compromising on taste.’

Alongside the sausages, the supermarket is welcoming back its incredibly popular No Moo Chocolate Lava Puddings and Kale & Tomato Houmous Style Pizza.

‘You wouldn’t even notice there’s no meat’

“We’re very proud to be building up our vegan range – a plat-based selection so tasty you wouldn’t even notice there’s no meat or dairy involved,” David Lennox, head chef at Iceland said in a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living.

“In taste tests, our No Porkies Cumberland Sausages have absolutely sizzled so we’re urging customers to give them a go before they sell out.”

Iceland’s vegan range is available in-store and online now.
