The Hummingbird Bakery is set to debut a range of baked vegan goods

From January 8th, customers will be able to pick up vegan red velvet cupcakes in seven Hummingbird Bakery locations across London and Surrey as the bakery begins rolling out its new line of vegan treats.

The baked goods will be baked-on-site and will be made using the “best possible ingredients”, according to the bakery.

Speaking about the new vegan cupcake, Hummingbird Bakery’s founder Tarek Malouf said: “Customers told us they wanted a vegan option of our cakes and we listened. We wanted to offer an amazing vegan cupcake that is every bit as delicious and authentically American tasting as the Red Velvet cupcake we introduced to the UK in 2004.

“The Hummingbird Bakery’s new Vegan Red Velvet Cupcake compromises nothing from the original recipe, we are really proud of this vegan version of our bestseller.”
