Following years of talks with PETA Germany, fashion house Hugo Boss has launched its first completely vegan suit for men.

Crafted entirely from non-animal materials right down to the dyes and glues, the suit is made of certified organic European linen making it a comfortable and breathable option for those looking for animal-free fashion.

The suit is available both online and in stores in beige, dark blue, and black and features the “PETA-Approved Vegan” logo to make its cruelty-free credentials clear to consumers.

Compassionate alternative

PETA applauded the move, saying: “As demand for ethically produced fashion continues to rise, we applaud BOSS for being the first world-famous premium brand to set this stylish milestone in vegan menswear and offer its customers a compassionate alternative to wool suits. Other fashion houses are sure to follow in its footsteps.”

Stylish milestone

“We are delighted to see that animal-friendly fashion is on the rise, and BOSS is the first world-known premium brand to set this stylish milestone in menswear,” said PETA Germany Vice President Harald Ullmann.

“Kind people can now buy high-end business suits that are not only stylish and fashionable but also cruelty-free and sustainable.”
