Heinz is launching a vegan version of its sell-out Christmas Dinner Big Soup.
The food giant, which launched the limited edition meal last year, says it wanted to ‘make sure even more people than ever can enjoy what is fast becoming a festive favourite’ by releasing a plant-based version.
It describes its festive plant-based chunky soup, which boasts vegan sausage, stuffing balls and veggies, as ‘the ideal comfort food for those long winter nights’.
According to Heinz, once the soup is gone, it’s gone, so those who are keen to try it should pick up a can (RRP £2) from selected Asda stores from November 24.

In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Bahar Kiransa, Marketing Manager at Heinz Soups, said: “After last year’s reaction to Heinz Christmas Dinner Big Soup, bringing it back again this year was a no brainer.
“So, we are so excited to relaunch our sensational seasonal addition to Heinz’s Big Soup family, and this time on a much larger scale, with a vegan version, too.
“We’ve been hard at work all year perfecting our recipes for both the meat and vegan versions.
“We are particularly proud to be introducing the vegan version this year, as everyone deserves to be able to try the delicious flavours of our soup.”
