Ham-style slices from Squeaky Bean and 5 other must-try new products

Honey roast ham, jackfruit pizza, and chocolate-y treats: take a look at this week’s hot vegan products

It feels like there’s a new vegan product every day, and so many new goodies can be pretty overwhelming (but we’re not complaining!)

To help you keep up, we’re rounding up some of the best recent launches you might have missed each week.

1. Squeaky Bean expand range with three new sandwich slices

Three brand new flavours of deli-style slices from Squeaky Bean are launching in Sainsbury’s.

The new slices mimic sandwich meat favourites in Roast Chicken, Honey Roast Ham, and Applewood Smoked Ham flavours.

All three flavours of new Squeaky Bean Slices are available at a recommended retail price of £3.00 for a 120g pack.

2. Ginsters expand plant-based range with two new pasties

Two new flavours of Ginsters pasty have joined the brand’s Moroccan Spiced Vegetable slice to form a fiery new vegan range.

The new pasties are available with Cajun Sweet Potato and Bombay Potato & Spinach fillings and boast a light, melt-in-your-mouth puff pastry.

Ginsters Bombay Potato & Spinach Pasty is already available in Co-op, and will launch in Asda on 18th October and Tesco on 6th November. Meanwhile, Ginsters Cajun Spiced Sweet Potato & Chickpea Pasty will appear in Asda from 18th October.

3. New ‘free from’ sweet treats in Sainsbury’s

Two new ‘mini-bites’ from We Love Cake have launched in over 400 Sainsbury’s Stores.

The bites are available in Toffee ‘Crunch ’n’ Crisp’ and ‘Choc-a-block’ flapjack varieties and are registered with the Vegan Society and Coeliac UK.

Alongside these bites shoppers will also find new Espresso Tiffin plant-based cakes from Bells & Whistles.

The tiffin is completely gluten-free and vegan, and loaded with delicious coffee flavour.

4. Fellow Creatures’ creamy plant-based chocolate bars hit the high street

An indulgent range of Swiss-style vegan chocolate bars is now available nationwide at WH Smith and Sainsbury’s.

The range of bars from Fellow Creatures includes Creamy Milkless Chocolate, Hazelnut, Salted Caramel, Raspberry White, and Matcha White Chocolate flavours.

The bars are vegan-certified, palm oil and gluten-free, and contain 30% less sugar than mainstream chocolate.

5. White Rabbit launches exclusive frozen vegan pizza with Co-op

Co-op has teamed up White Rabbit to launch its first frozen pizza, which has launched exclusively in Co-op stores.

The first frozen pizza from the brand is the Sizzlin’ Jackfruit, a gluten free, sourdough base topped with pulled jackfruit marinated in a spicy vegan harissa sauce, with chargrilled peppers and a generous amount of creamy Mozzarisella cheese.

6. Hungry Cat Cafe’s easy vegan cookbook

Harleston-based vegan cafe Hungry Cat Cafe have released a cookbook called ‘Easy Enough Even For The Beginner’ by Dilliciously Vegan.

The cookbook contains lots of tasty autumnal recipes and promises to prove that eating plant-based is neither difficult nor bland.

Dilliciously Vegan is available as an eBook or paperback from Amazon.
