Nothing gives us a festive feeling quite like the launch of vegan Christmas products, and Greggs is certainly up there with its latest announcement.

The plant-based pasty is filled with Quorn pieces, sage and onion stuffing, a vegan bacon crumb, and finished with a cranberry and sage sauce. Merry Christmas to us!

In recent years, vegans have approached the bakery pleading for a vegan version of its cult pasty.

One person tweeted “If we don’t get a Vegan Festive Bake this year I might riot.”

In a statement to Vegan Food & Living, Hannah Squirrell, Customer Director at Greggs, said: “The Festive Bake is the latest iconic Greggs Bake to receive a vegan-friendly makeover, and it retains all the classic Christmassy flavours of the original.

“There’s nothing better over the festive season than tucking into delicious Christmas food, and we’re confident that customers will love our latest tasty Bakes.” We couldn’t agree more!
