Tuck into Gourmet Burger Kitchen’s epic new jackfruit vegan burger, Jack in a Bun, for free this Thursday to celebrate all things plant-based.
On Thursday 1st November, to celebrate World Vegan Day and GBK’s new vegan burger, 900 Jack-in-a-buns will be given away across all restaurants up and down the country.
Brits will be able to head down to their local GBK this Thursday where 10 Jack-in-a-buns will be available per restaurant for free. As soon as restaurants open for business on Thursday, all customers need to do is say ‘Jack on the house’ at the till to claim their free burger of vegan deliciousness. The giveaway is on a first come, first serve basis, one per customer. Once all 10 have gone, they’re gone!
The latest plant-based addition to the burger menu at GBK features the ingredient of the moment, jackfruit. The Jack-in-a-bun includes a homemade butternut squash and quinoa patty, beetroot mayo Korean pulled jackfruit, pickled onions and rocket, all piled up in a sourdough bun.
Jay James, Head of Marketing at GBK says, “We want everyone to be able to enjoy incredible burgers at GBK, meat-eaters, veggies and vegans alike. With our giveaway on Thursday we want burger-lovers to unite and head down to our restaurants to enjoy a ‘jack-in-a-bun-on-the-house!”
