Exciting news for sneaker-heads! Gola vegan trainers have officially launched, and they’re certified by The Vegan Society.
Thanks to rising global popularity of veganism, and the consumer-led push towards a more ethical and animal-free wardrobe, popular shoe brand Gola have recently announced the launch of their new range of vegan trainers. Responding to the demand of their customer base, Gola made the decision to launch a brand new range of Gola Vegan Classics this summer, sending vegan trainer-lovers into raptures of applause.
To manufacture the Vegan Classics, Gola has utilised a form of material-based analysis known as ve-MAP testing. This unique process analyses the DNA make-up of each composite material used in the shoe manufacturing processes. Vegans can rest assured that all of Gola’s new vegan range includes dyes, adhesives, fabrics and finishing components which are completely free from all traces of animal DNA.
From their website, Gola comments: “We have styles for women, men and your mini-me’s! Our range includes the ladies’ Coaster in various styles: Classic, Rainbow, Hi-Tops and Mirror, while we also have our very popular Mark Cox style in a range of colours.”
To add confidence to your new ethical purchases, Gola’s Vegan Classics have been officially certified by The Vegan Society. It has been an exciting year for The Vegan Society in terms of their larger fashion collaborations, having certified New Look’s latest vegan shoe and bag range to hit the high-streets earlier on this summer. We hope to see more brands choosing to adopt the certification in the future, making shopping for vegan items that much easier, and increasing ethical awareness in consumers.
