Commuters in London will notice huge new vegan adverts telling them to 'Go Ahead, Eat Like A Vegan' as part of Oatly's latest campaign.

Swedish oat milk brand Oatly are the masters of bold advertising campaigns that encourage the public to go vegan, and they’ve just launched their latest campaign across London and Brighton.

The posts are part of Oatly’s ‘From Oatly with Love Handles’ campaign to promote its new range of ice-creams with a very honest message… this is no health food.

The campaign sees Oatly take over key sites across London including Shoreditch and Hackney murals and Waterloo, London Bridge and Euston station takeovers, as well as bringing the message to Brighton with a series of murals and banners.

Speaking about the campaign in a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Oatly’s Creative Director, Michael Lee, commented: “This launch campaign hopes to broadly connect with ice cream lovers across the UK and prove a point to the non-believers out there that being plant-based and progressive doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t be decadent and well, even a little reckless…  UK, it’s time to indulge.”

Oatly launched its first nationwide UK campaign in 2018, with posters stating: ‘It’s like milk, but made for humans, appearing across the capital.

In the hope of convincing UK consumers to swap their traditional cow’s milk for a plant-based, oat drink alternative, the company later painted a series of murals in London to enourcage passers-by to ‘Ditch Milk’ and ‘swap to oat drink and save 73 percent in CO2 emissions.’
