It seems vegan leather can be made from almost anything, from apples, to cactus, to wine waste, and now cork.

Based in Paris and manufactured in Portugal, Arsayo is a family-run brand that focuses on designing and creating comfortable, recyclable, vegan, ethical, fashionable, ingenious backpacks.

Arsayo’s ergonomic backpack fits like a jacket and moulds perfectly to the shape of the body for a comfortable fit. Security is also key with its design, the bag is impossible to be opened when it is being worn and the manufacturing of the bag does not pollute and promotes stable jobs.

The unisex backpack is available in 5 different colours and 3 sizes to ensure the perfect fit for anyone. The material is water-resistant, organic, lightweight and easy to clean.

Arsayo’s new ‘Snake & Croc’ collection which offers backpacks made from cork with the design of crocodile and snakeskin is available to pre-order now from £199 and will arrive in time for Christmas. The ‘Suber’ collection is available to purchase now from £179.
