Frankie & Benny’s launches a new menu including vegan meatballs, pizza and tiramisu

Family-friendly Italian restaurant chain Frankie & Benny’s is rebranding with a new menu that includes some tasty new vegan options.

Frankie & Benny’s is “focusing on their passion for quality food and community spirit of Little Italy” with an exciting new menu launch that includes a host of vegan options.

The nationwide rebrand of its 230 restaurants has been “designed to attract a more grown-up audience” with a new menu that celebrates its Italian American roots and brings the “spirit of Little Italy straight to the streets of the UK!”

New vegan options on the menu includes a Plantballs Italiano dish with meatless vegan balls made with pulled oats, broad bean and pea, served in a spicy tomato sauce with vegan mozzarella alternative and rocket.

Mushroom lovers can tuck into the new Mushroom Bianca in a creamy garlic sauce- made with no dairy and served with parsley. Diners can add vegan soy pieces to your sauce to add more texture and protein to the dish.

The restaurant chain has also launched a brand new vegan pizza – the Verdure Pizza with roasted courgettes, pepper and torn vegan meatballs, vegan mozzarella and fresh parsley on tomato sauce.

There’s also a new dessert option in the form of the tempting Chocomisu. Featuring a vegan sponge soaked in a coffee and brandy syrup, layered with chocolate and coffee vegan cream, and dusted with cocoa powder, you’ll want to make sure you leave room for this!
