After initially launching as a vegetarian restaurant, Vinnie’s Eatery are now 100% plant-based after ditching dairy and eggs from the menu, making them the first plant-based, whole food eatery in Cheltenham.
After initially launching as a vegetarian restaurant, Vinnie’s Eatery are now 100% plant-based after ditching dairy and eggs from the menu.
Owner Vincenzo explained the reasons why they decided to go vegan, saying:
“For the first 4 weeks of opening we had eggs as an option on the breakfast menu, and cheese as an add-on to one dish on the supper menu. We decided however that it was not much of a step to take those off, and it means now we are a vegan eatery. We hosted the Gloucestershire Vegan Group on May 19th and it was a packed restaurant of like-minded individuals.”

On June 13th and 14th the acclaimed Canadian Raw Vegan Chef Chantale Roy, who taught Vincenzo to cook vegan food, is coming all the way from Canada to host a two evening masterclass in Raw Vegan cuisine, which include an introduction to raw cuisine and a raw French pastry masterclass. Guests will be able to taste samples, watch her prepare dishes in front of your very eyes and enjoy the wide range of her raw cookery knowledge!

Vinnie’s also host Yoga Thursdays where guests can participate in a free 45 minute yoga class, and are then treated to one of Vinnie’s raw flax crust pizzas, as well as a cold press juice, for £12. The best part is that after the class everyone eats together, so it’s a great place to connect with likeminded people.
