There’s a new plant-based brand in town, and it’s making veganism fancy.

Fancy Plants has bounced onto the plant-based scene with a selection of vegan desserts set to tickle your tastebuds. This launch has come at a time when the dairy-free dessert industry is on the rise, as well as a demand for products which are not only delicious alternatives but also provide nutritional benefits.

The brand has released two Silky Pots in Chocolate and Chocolate Salted Caramel flavours, as well as two Chia Parfaits.

Named after their texture, the Silky Pots are not only indulgent but also contain prebiotic fibre, essential for a healthy digestive system. On the other hand, the new Chia Parfaits contain the nutritional goodness of chia seeds and are rich in omega 3, calcium and vitamin D.

‘Join us on the plant side’

In a statement sent to Vegan Food and Living, CEO John Foss told us he started Fancy Plants with one goal in mind: “To create delicious plant-based snacks with added nutritional benefits, making it easy for people to eat more plants.

“We believe the more people we can get to join us on the plant side, the better it is for our health and the health of the planet,” he added.

Giving back

Fancy Plants is also partners with the global organisation ‘1% for the Planet’ which donates 1% of sales back to people and the planet through non-profit social and environmental groups.

The brand intends to become a certified B-Corp by the end of 2021, demonstrating their commitment to creating a business that makes a positive impact for its employees, communities and the environment. What’s not to love?

Fancy Plants is now available in selected Tesco stores across the UK in the plant-based section, starting at £1.80 RRP.
