EAT. has expanded its menu ahead of Autumn to include a tasty new comforting vegan lunch option – a vegan cheese toastie.
EAT., the healthy grab-and-go chain which has over 90 stores around London and the UK’s largest cities and airports, has expanded its menu ahead of Autumn to include a tasty new comforting vegan lunch option.
The brand new vegan toastie, the Mushroom Melt (£3.99), is available to purchase in stores now and features multi-seed bloomer filled with mushrooms, caramelized onions and vegan smoked ‘Gouda’ cheese with vegan garlic mayonnaise.
Speaking about the sarnie, Emily Williams from the EAT. food team said: “We’ve created a hearty plant-based toastie, ideal for the colder months. Our vegan smoked ‘Gouda’ is made from coconut and potato but has the texture, melting characteristics and complex flavour of regular cheese, we can’t wait for our customers to try it.”
Holly Oades, customer director, EAT., added: “We are thrilled to add a delicious and filling vegan toastie to our menus this autumn. We believe our vegan ‘Gouda’ is the best plant-based alternative on the high street, and challenge everyone to try and taste the difference.”
