Sam East, who runs the Facebook page The Karma Conscious Kitchen- Vegan is sharing her passion for veganism, and the knowledge she has gained after being vegan for nearly 25 years (she was a vegetarian before that too!), and is taking over the Conwy Market Cafe in North Wales for what promises to be a fantastic day!

‘I have a stall at the market every Monday and Friday selling vegan and spiritual crafts and jewellery, and was approached by the organiser to offer something different. The vegan scene is growing in North Wales and there is even a vegan cafe at Bangor, but pure vegan offerings, made in a vegan kitchen is worth the journey. A full menu is available on the Facebook page for The Karma Conscious Kitchen- Vegan or the Conwy Market Vegan Pop up Cafe page. I will be offering rolls with home made vegan brie and ‘eggless’ salad, sausage rolls, wraps, cheese toasties, vegetable laksa, soup, gluten free homemade bread and caffeine free drinks, including more homemade chai’.’ – Sam East

Sam's homemade vegan brie will be served at the pop-up this weekend.

You can expect to find a whole host of tasty foods at the vegan cafe pop-up this weekend, from a vegan laksa and yellow split pea soup, both available with homemade gluten free buckwheat and rosemary bread or standard bread, and which are seasoned with herbs grown in Sam’s very own herb garden. Not only that, there will also be home made Brie and salad rolls, vegan ‘egg’ in salad cream roll, as well as a range of delicious sweet treats! Don’t miss it!
