Domino’s Australia has announced it’s considering adding vegan cheese to its menu.
The company says it will add vegan cheese to its menu if there is enough interest from customers, which it will be gauging via a tab on its Facebook page.
Customers who’d like to see vegan cheese on the menu can head to the Domino’s Australia page, click on the Vegan Cheese tab and request the item be added to the menu
Domino’s CEO for Australia and New Zealand Nick Knight said that if there’s enough interest, the vegan cheese option will be rolled out across the whole of Australia.
“Domino’s is committed to our customers and we know that vegan cheese has proven to be a popular topic among our passionate fans for some time now,” he said.
“We pride ourselves on listening to our customers and with World Vegan Day taking place earlier this week, our product development team wanted to celebrate by testing the demand for vegan cheese.
“Currently, all of our pizzas can be altered to suit a vegan diet as our pizza bases and pizza sauces are vegan-friendly however we want to find out if vegans across Australia would like to see vegan cheese added to the menu.”
Sadly, there’s no news yet on whether this idea will expand beyond Australia’s borders, however the company has recently added vegan cheese to the menu in Israel.
