There are many great cookbooks out there, but Simple Happy Kitchen isn’t a cookbook. It gives you an idea of all the wonderful options of the plant-based kitchen, and will teach you the benefits of the diet and provide tips on implementation.
Nevertheless, there are some recipes for inspiration on easy-to-make meals related to the current chapter.
Who’s behind the book?
Miki Mottes, an illustrator and designer, using his design skills and volunteered in many animal welfare organisations and associations who promote plant-based nutrition. He decided to take it to the next level and do his best to make a big change, in a way that could reach everyone.
All information in the book is based on studies and reliable data, and readers can easily find the references cited in the book and website. All nutrition information is written and verified by vegan nutritionist and by other experts.
Backing the campaign on Kickstarter
Simple Happy Kitchen’s Kickstarter campaign to release the book launches on Wednesday September 13th, at 8am EST. You can sign up on their website here to be notified when the campaign launches.
Backers are welcome to suggest topics and ideas that promote plant-based life, as Simple Happy Kitchen will be hosting polls and questionnaires to discover the most interesting topics and include them in the book.
Backers will be able to choose from a wide range of cute gifts, such as jewellery, crockery, bags and cushion, which have been designed especially for the Kickstarter campaign, and which feature the veggie characters from the book.
