Crosstown ventures into chocolate
Award-winning sweet treat brand Crosstown is launching its first range of chocolate bars – including three indulgent vegan flavours.
The vegan flavours available are rich and indulgent dark chocolate, espresso coffee, and yuzu and passionfruit bars.
The bars are available individually (£5.95), in a three-pack (£15.95) and six-pack (£29.95), in-store and online for delivery nationwide.

Borna offers a range of pistachio-based nut butters
Nut-loving brand Borna Foods have released two enticing new blends of nut butters into Ocado, Wholefoods, Amazon and all manner of independent delis and garden centres.
Along with their 100% pistachio butters in crunchy, smooth, and sweet roast varieties nut fans can now find coconut & pistachio and strawberry & pistachio blends.
The 170g jars of pistachio butter range in price from £7.99 to £8.49 and are great as a healthy and delicious topping for toast.
Non-alcoholic rum from Marie-Laveau
A new non-alcoholic alternative to rum is available just in time for Christmas and dry January, and it’s vegan-friendly!
Marie Laveau is a distilled, non-alcoholic, small-batch, spiced spirit. It uses classic spices and natural botanicals usually associated with rum to create an intriguing mouth feel and warm tingling taste, but without any alcohol.
It’s available for £18.99 via the Marie Laveau website and Amazon, and is perfect for non-alcoholic cocktails and long drinks.
Crave launch smokey bacon and pickled onion snacks
Two new flavours of salty snacks have been launched by British free-from brand Crave.
The familiar snacks are available in Pickled Onion Flavour Monster Feet shapes, and Smokey Flavoured Streakers.
The maize-based snacks are vegan and free from gluten, corn, milk, eggs, and lactose.
According to Crave, they are more than a match for their mainstream equivalents.
Crave’s new snacks can be bought via The VeganKind Supermarket for £1.73 per pack.
The Great British Porridge Co. relaunches in fully recyclable packs
The Great British Porridge Co.’s range of instant porridges have been updated with tastier flavours and completely recyclable packaging,
The Great British Porridge Co.’s 60g portable pots are available in three delicious flavours: Classic Chocolate, Blueberry & Banana and Caffè Latte.
The full range of instant porridges are made using high quality British wholegrain oats, with ethically sourced ingredients. Plus, the pots are also 100% natural, fibre-filled, dairy-free, plant-based, and have absolutely no added sugar, making them a super healthy breakfast choice.
With the relaunched range, the packaging has also undergone an update, with all the pots now fully recyclable, made from plastic with paper sleeves and aluminium lids.
The new and improved Breakfast Bowls are available in 60g, 100% recyclable pots for £1.29 from the brand’s website.
