Costa Coffee has unveiled its limited-edition Christmas menu, coming early next month, and it's packed with festive treats to tempt vegans across the UK

Costa Coffee has announced that its 2022 Christmas range will hit stores from 3rd November and this year there are five new vegan additions that you’ll be able to get your hands on.
The all-new vegan ‘P’gs & Blankets Panini’ is first up. Full of festivity, the panini features a plant-based sausage and bacon filling, stuffed with cheeZe, a succulent sage and onion stuffing and, of course, the ultimate yuletide condiment; cranberry sauce.
Pigs in blankets are, without a doubt, a staple on the Christmas dinner table, so this is sure to be a festive treat that is entirely vegan.
Costa Coffee’s collaboration with M&S continues
Earlier this year, Costa Coffee announced its collaboration with M&S Food and started serving the popular supermarket’s food products in Costa branches across the nation.
So this year it will be bringing M&S’s vegan Christmas range to Costa’s shelves, too.
A firm favourite in the M&S Christmas range last year, the Plant Kitchen No Turkey Feast Sandwich will be making its first visit to Costa stores all over the UK.
The festive sandwich sees roasted wheat and pea protein, fried onions, spinach, sweet cranberry chutney and bacon flavour vegan dressing encased in malted brown bread.
Costa is bringing back its festive cute characters to appear on both its takeaway cups and some special festive tree decorations

Something sweet from Costa Coffee
Of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas without a mince pie, and Costa Coffee has delivered.
The Vegan Mince Tart will be back on the menu, with the added benefit of it being completely gluten-free. Soft and crumbly with a vegan mincemeat filling, the tart is the ideal sweet treat for this time of year.
Alongside the Gluten-Free Vegan Mince Tart, the coffee shop chain is introducing two new biscuits to its Christmas range: the Santa Gingerbread Biscuit and the Christmas Tree Shortcake.
Perfect with a coffee, these themed snacks are of course vegan too.
Costa Coffee has also announced that its iconic Christmas takeaway cups will be making an appearance once again, alongside the arrival of the Christmas menu.
This year, they feature fun and colourful character designs including ‘Ginger’ the gingerbread person, ‘Snowy’ the snowman and ‘Bear’ the happy-go-lucky brown bear. These will be available when purchasing hot drinks both in store and at Costa Express machines all across the UK, and as a Christmas tree decoration.
In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Naomi Matthews from Costa Coffee said: “Christmas has always been such a magical time of year at Costa Coffee, and we’re delighted to yet again be able to partner with some well-renowned brands to launch another spectacular beverage and food range, complete with both new items and returning favourites.”
The full range will be available in selected stores from 3rd November 2022.
