Plant-based subscription service Vibrant Vegan is offering one meat-lover £50,000 to go vegan for 3 months.
Vibrant Vegan is on the lookout for the ‘UK’s biggest meat-eater’ to offer £50,000 in exchange for going vegan.
The chosen meat-eater will sign a contract stating they will not consume any animals products for three months, while also encouraging others to give a vegan diet a go on social media.
Named ‘Vegan Curious Coordinator’ their £50k role will involve eating Vibrant Vegan’s meals and sharing what they think and speaking to other meat-eaters about making the switch.
At the end of the three-month period, they will be asked if they want to stay vegan for the rest of 2021. If they do, Vibrant Vegan will supply them with £100,000 worth of vegan meals to last them a ‘lifetime’ providing they prove their pledge with social media posts and a food diary.

‘Vegan curious’
The idea for the role of Vegan Curious Coordinator came from a survey of 1,5000 people which found that 34% admitted to being ‘vegan curious’.
Moreover, Google Trends identified that vegan searches are now three times more frequent than in 2017, with searches peaking in Veganuary each year.
It can be hard to know where to start when you go vegan, so Vibrant Vegan will be providing the winning applicant with unlimited meals and a nutritionist on-hand to ensure they are getting everything they need from their new diet.
‘Vegan food can, and should be enjoyed by everyone’
The founder of Vibrant Vegan, Ian Burke-Hamilton, said:
“As we head into the New Year, we at Vibrant Vegan want to demonstrate not only the health and environmental benefits of being vegan that we hear so much about, but also highlight that vegan food can, and should, be enjoyed by everyone – even the UK’s biggest meat lover!
“We’re incredibly excited to hire our first Vegan Curious Coordinator and to watch them share their journey with people that love good food and are interested in a vegan lifestyle but perhaps feel it’s too much of a commitment or simply aren’t sure where to start.”
The winning applicant will be selected on January 25th, with their vegan pledge starting on February 1st.
